it's like my entire life i'm climbing up a slide 

a slide that’s real high

and yeah I know we all have our slides

but this slide is MINE

these cracks, these scratches, these splints

these things are MINE

I bumped MY head on this thing

I jacked up MY hand 

my nails

digging into MY slide

trying to climb up MY slide

knowing i'll never make it to the top 

but the top is not what I aim for

just trying to make it SOME of  the way

trying not to slip

scream without making a sound

in my mind, holler as I dare NOT to look down

trying to climb at least halfway up

without falling and cracking and hitting the ground

and STILL they say to that

I say take that woe and shove it up your a**hole

don't know how far up I'm gonna go

and then look down, look the hell AT me
