A solemn place where death lingers and waits

For a Final Farewell

A Prolonged Goodbye

What could have been if you had lived

Your words, your wisdom your smile

That "sparkin" of the brain you had loved to give

I embrace the "what ifs"

And deal brutal blows to the "whys"

How can it be that you have died

You died, you passed, your time's been spent

Time has fled, yet still I weep

And through the searing, pouring rain

Time now says to unleash my pain

So before the clock's hand, strikes tomorrow

A single, solitary rose to your grave

I sink to my knees

And drown in dreadful 

Sorrow
